Somerset bowler Andy Caddick will see a back specialist on Saturday after leaving the field as a precaution in the victory over Cambridge UCCE.

Caddick, 39, who had surgery in the close season to cure a bulging spinal disc, came off after bowling four overs and one ball at Fenner's.

Somerset coach Andy Hurry said: "Caddick had a slight niggle, so he left the field immediately as advised."

He definitely misses Sunday's Friends Provident Trophy game with Hampshire.
