Glamorgan bag morale-boosting win

Glamorgan recorded their first win over a first-class county in the FP Trophy since 2001 with a 19-run success.

Skipper David Hemp shared 91 in 19 overs with Michael Powell, striking 11 fours, but Glamorgan were restricted to 221-7 after being put in at Taunton.

Somerset lost key Marcus Trescothick for 15 in the 10th over.

Ian Blackwell revived them with three fours and two sixes in 42 from 36 balls and tail-ender Steffan Jones hit three sixes in 42, but Glamorgan held on.
