Glamorgan cricket manager Matthew Maynard says his side are fired up to shine in Friday's first match at their new Swalec Stadium home in Cardiff.
"We're looking forward like you would not believe, as we've been all winter," he said ahead of the Friends Provident Trophy visit of Gloucestershire.
"We'll have a full stadium and a team that really wants to go out and show its skills to make the fans proud."
Glamorgan have named an unchanged 12-man squad for the match.
That means there is still no one-day spot for veteran all-rounder Robert Croft as the home of the opening Ashes 2009 Test opens its doors.
"I firmly believe in continuity, that's something that was difficult to achieve last season," Maynard told BBC Sport Wales.
"We did some good things last week and it was nice to get a result at Taunton."
After the opening Friends Provident match was abandoned against Gloucestershire, the Dragons defeated Somerset last Sunday but were defeated by Worcestershire 24 hours later.
Gloucestershire will be without fast bowler Steve Kirby, who will be on duty with the England Lions against New Zealand.
The Swalec Stadium is built on the site of the old Sophia Gardens in the Pontcanna area of Cardiff, the £9.5m redevelopment seeing the capacity increased from 5,500 to 15,643.
As there is no on-site spectator parking at the new stadium, Glamorgan are offering discounted rates for the pay and display surface car park located 200 yards from the ground.
