Gloucestershire moved to the top of the South West table after beating Hampshire by five wickets with two balls left in a game cut to 20 overs.
They put Hampshire into bat and the visitors posted 144-6 from their allocation, Michael Lumb top-scoring with 10 fours and a six in 71.
The hosts lost Hamish Marshall first ball and were soon reduced to 27-4.
But Craig Spearman hit two sixes in 67 and Mark Hardinges saw them home with 44, featuring four fours and a six.
Kiwi paceman Shane Bond conceded just 11 runs in four overs for Hampshire, and his three wickets included the dismissal of Spearman, caught for 71 on the mid-wicket boundary in the 17th over.
Spearman's partnership of 79 in 11 overs with Hardinges had brought Gloucestershire back into contention but 39 were still needed from 23 balls when he was dismissed.
Hardinges and Steve Adshead swung the match the home side's way by taking 28 off successive overs from Chris Tremlett and Dimitri Mascarenhas.
Five runs were required off the last over, and a single by Adshead to mid-wicket secured the win.
