David Beckham provided an unscheduled rainy Wednesday's entertainment for Britain's Jamie Murray as the Scottish tennis player watched a Major League Soccer All-Star Game workout.
The North American league's top talent will face London's West Ham United here on Thursday with a lineup whose shining star is England international midfielder Beckham, who joined the Los Angeles Galaxy from Real Madrid in 2007.
Beckham went through the paces while ATP players Murray and Frank Dancevic of Canada were invited onto the touchline to observe during a downpour that halted play in an ATP Masters Series event here.
Murray, playing doubles with brother Andy, was impressed by what he saw on the pitch from Beckham.
"We saw him practicing his free kicks, you can see why he's one of the best players in the world," said Scottish Hibs fan Murray.
"It was good to see. A lot of time we are stuck at the courts all day. It was great to come down and see these guys kick a few balls around."
